also, no one was ever banned for plagiarism, and I don't think anyone ever will be-its the resulting butthurt that brings the ban.

This isn't school, but it makes your posts better and more trusted if you can source your information. It's not hard to leave a link.

To be honest I think you want to post guides from other authors and take credit for the work because you know most of the user base here isn't going to check for references. By a small stroke of luck is the only reason someone recognized a guide you pulled. I wonder how many other guides are ripped off word for word. You have to know that the users here were looking at those guides as if you typed them up. You had to of known that. That's shady.

Who was the other user that got called out by the original author of his plagiarized works? Dude came to the site, created an account and said "uh that's mine. Not yours. Y u pretend to be smart?". That was a lulzy day

EDIT: TheGrahamReaper was the other user. Man, that was going to bother me.

    amateurs avoid plagiarism

professionals physically pummel the original copyright holder until they surrender all usage rights, in whole and part, and induce brain damage so they are no longer mentally capable of remembering the works they produced.

I thought it was obviously copypasta. Apparently everyone got massively butthurt because I copypasted directions on how to knit or crochet or whatever an owl. I thought the stock photo gave it away, but apparently the userbase here is too dumb to catch that.
