Hi, I joined this forum because I found it using google to search for counterfeitting.

I'll start with counterfeitting actual money, printing it etc. The one dollar bill has absolutely no security measures, as the government thinks it is unprofitable for counterfeitters to counterfeit a dollar at a time, but it is actually insanely profitable. You can print 4 dollars per page (on rag paper obv), roughly 1200 pages per color cartridge, so around $4800 per fill up.

I have a simple at home inkjet printer, and I've already ran some test runs. The quality is ridiculous, and now I simply configuring the color settings and size before I go buy the paper. I'll make a couple different serial numbers etc (maybe 100) then go ask for change around town, thoughts? I'm not retarded and have already spent several hours designing my picture to print and still have a lot of work to do to get the coloring right, I've done 20 or so test prints.

In all reality this seems way too easy. I have no intentions of being a burn out, there is no sense in not living off of this. A six figure income from an inkjet printer sounds pretty dope.

Secondly, counterfeitting video games/dvds. What is stopping people from burning a game onto a blank disc, then printing the original disc design onto the blank one thus duplicating a real game detail for detail? Yes printers (and most printers) can print onto discs. Video games aren't cheap these days, as I'm sure most of you know.

If I had a dedicated home setup and schedule, the video games might be more profitable and secure. You could even ebay the games off which would avoid any complications from the IRS as paypal is considered a legitimate bank, and any accounts over $20,000 are sent to the IRS. Therefore, you have a "real" business and don't have to launder money.

However, that brings up my next question. How would one go about dealing with the IRS if you were counterfeitting (or even stuff like drug dealing, stealing, etc) over six figures each year and living off of it? I've never messed with taxes before so I don't know.

Thanks to any responses.

I might be a little late to the party with this one - needless to say, it didn't receive much coverage in my backwards corner of the world - but given the recent developments, I think it's still relevant to discuss this documentary series.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, Paradise Lost follows the trial of three teenagers, collectively referred to as the West Memphis 3, for the murders and mutilation of three young boys between the ages of 6 and 8. Essentially, the boys were immediately considered suspects as they were the members of the community who were most openly involved in "occult activities". In this particular case, "occult activities" simply means they were listening to Metallica and, shockingly, seeking intellectual stimuli beyond the classroom. One of the suspects was also intellectually impaired, and the police took advantage of this to effectively trick him into confessing to the murders, despite having irrefutable evidence to prove that he wasn't. Long story short, the three teenagers were sentenced to life in prison (as well as the "leader" being sentenced to death), simply because they listened to alternative music, the police were lazy and their backwards community finds it more comforting to blame such horrific crimes on Satanists than to even consider other possibilities.

In the sequels, there is evidence presented to suggest that the father of one of the murdered boys may actually be responsible. Now, compared to the West Memphis 3, there is actually forensic evidence linking this man to the crimes, eyewitnesses reporting seeing him with the boys not long before their disappearance (despite his claims to have not seen them at all on the day of the murder), and his alibi for the time of the murders was proven to be false. The only evidence against the West Memphis 3 is the forced confession from the intellectually disabled boy, who was initially interrogated for a period of more than 12 hours and has since admitted that he agreed to say whatever the investigators told him to, just so he could leave and sleep. Doesn't that seem a little strange?

In the third film of the series, released only a few months ago, the West Memphis 3 are finally released from prison after serving 18 years for crimes they quite clearly did not commit. However, they haven't been cleared of the charges - they've simply been released. This means they're still legally considered to be the perpetrators of the murders and they've also been offered no compensation for their wrongful convictions.

Have any of you guys seen these films?? If so, what did you think? As documentary films, I've seen very few that present such an objective viewpoint (at least the first one). The filmmakers seemingly have no particular agenda (obviously they do, but it's not obviously present in the film itself), so audiences really are left to make judgements themselves. They present the sides as evenly as they can - the families of the victims, the investigators and the accused.

More importantly, what does this say society and our legal systems? Apparently, we've not progressed beyond witch-hunting...

The documentaries can be watched here. However, I strongly recommend that if you are interested in this, you purchase a copy of the DVD in order to support the West Memphis 3 and spread the word of injustice.

After seeing THIS (http://www.totse2.com/showthread.php...ical-quot-pens) thread on tactiCOOL pens, I decided to start a thread for everyday tactiCOOL products that you would use or already own! I'll start:

TACTI-COOL AUTONOMOUS ATTACK ROBOT

This heavily modified Roomba will not just clean your home, but tactically take down any intruders that may make the mistake of trying to catch you off guard. My reasoning behind it:

1. I need a good roomba, I am tired of those shitty $30 hoovers that last about 3 seconds before breaking or clogging up.

2. It is pretty cheap.

3. Very practical.

4. Because fuck you that's why!

X-TREMEOMATIC TACTICOOL-U-OFF SELF-DEFENSE FAN

Defending yourself against home intruders is hard, tiring work! That's why I own an X-Tremeomatic TactiCOOL-U-OFF Self-Defense Fan! It takes the away some of the physical strain of having to save my own life! My reasoning behind it:

1. I need a good fan, I am tired of those shitty window-units that last about 3 seconds before breaking or heating up.

2. It is pretty cheap.

3. Very practical.

4. Because fuck you that's why!

THE 2-PLY ULTRA-SOFT SURVIVAL SAWas seen in the TACTICOOL TOILETRY COLLECTION

You can't pick when to defend yourself from an attacker - and over 90% of 100% of all home invasions take place when the owner has no idea it's about to or currently taking place. So why should you let the invader have the advantage? With The 2-Ply Ultra-Soft Survival Saw, you can keep yourself clean in the bathroom, and keep your attackers at bay! My reasoning behind it:

1. I need a good saw, I am tired of those shitty dull ones that last about 3 seconds before breaking or dulling up.

2. It is pretty cheap.

3. Very practical.

4. Because fuck you that's why!

SMITH & FRESH-ON TACTICOOL .45 CAL TOOTHBRUSH as seen in the TACTICOOL TOILETRY COLLECTION

What can I say? I like having clean teeth, just as much as I like not being a victim! One minute I'm fighting cavities, and the next, I'm fighting thieves and murderers! Studies show that people are not likely to be fully armed while brushing their teeth - Are you going to let an intruder catch you or your loved ones off guard? My reasoning behind it:

1. I need a good toothbrush, I am tired of those shitty off-brand ones that last about 3 seconds before breaking or burning up.

2. It is pretty cheap.

3. Very practical.

4. Because fuck you that's why!
It almost looks like a suicide attempt or insurance scam though, which wouldent suprise me at all. dash cam in an elderly couples car that records speed and direction of travel?.
or......

elderly person behind the wheel, it looks kinda like they wanted to turn left into the turning lane at the start of the video.....some people are kinda slow and they have a "Seniors moment", went for the brake but got the gas and noticing that he was starting to go faster he presses harder thinking its the brakes. in the space between 14-17 seconds you can tell he applyed some brake pressure because the revs stuttered for a moment.
Korean officials are now investigating whether dashboard camera video that shows an elderly Korean couple speeding through crowded city streets and then plowing into another vehicle at 80 mph is evidence of sudden, uncontrolled acceleration by the vehicle.
Footage of the May 6 crash, in which 17 people were injured, was posted on an internet forum by the couple's son, who told Korean media he didn't think that the police or the auto manufacturer would believe that the crash was caused by sudden, unexplained acceleration.
The son, who would only give his family name, Kwon, to Korean media, said his father, the driver, suffered fractured ribs and fingers and his mother needed an operation to stop internal bleeding.
The incident, which occurred in heavy traffic in Daegu, one of South Korea's largest cities, was captured by a camera mounted on the Sonata's dashboard and facing forward. In the 29 second clip, the car accelerates quickly from a complete standstill. The driver weaves in and out of traffic, trying to avoid impact as his wife blurts, "Oh my god, what is going on?" The driver then slams into the back of a stopped car at 129 kilometers per hour.

On Monday, the Korean government said it planned to investigate the incident, and that it is also investigating several other incidents of alleged sudden acceleration.
In a statement to ABC News, Hyundai Motors said, "The Vehicle is being inspected by the Korean National Forensic Service. There is no time estimate for the conclusion of the investigation."
On May 5, Hyundai announced that all its cars are now manufactured with brake override systems, which are designed to stop sudden acceleration incidents. According to Korean media reports the vehicle from the Daegu crash was a 2009 Sonata.

ABC News has reported extensively on alleged sudden acceleration incidents in Toyotas. Toyota recalled millions of vehicles to address sticking accelerator pedals or misplaced floor mats. In all other cases, Toyota attributed complaints of sudden acceleration to "driver error," saying its research has shown the driver mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake.

Be warned. This is a big rant. Enjoy.

1. COMPARING EVERYTHING TO CALL OF DUTY

Copied straight from GameFAQs' own Halo 4 board.

"One of the lead multiplayer designers specifically said armor abilities will be
like a "rock paper scissors" encounter. They have specifically copied things from
CoD in H4 without even trying to hide where it came from (Spartan Ops, Spartan
Points, x to respawn, classes, perks, L3 to sprint, unlock weapons as you level up)"

- appleturnover87 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/632877-halo-4/62729187)

Now, I don't know if appleturnfaggot69 is trollin' but I've been seeing these kinds
of posts everywhere for a very long time. Too long.

First, let's get this out of the way. Whether you like it or not, Call of Duty has
discovered one of the most successful formulas for a great multiplayer experience and
it shows in player numbers and sales. Personally, I think the flaws bring it down too
much but that's just me. I still saw what made it fun and enjoyable.

Even if a game borrows some things from CoD's multiplayer to put into its own, it
doesn't matter nearly as much as you think it does. Should Half-Life have no pistol
in the game because Doom had a pistol first? No. There's no reason why developers
can't learn from each other to make better games.

BUT, and this is a huge one, obviously completely ripping off CoD or any other game
to make your own is complete bullcrap. All games should have a sense of individuality.
What the developer needs to decide is what to take from a game and what to leave
alone, barring the question of whether the developer needs to take anything from a
particular game or games at all.

I could say more but I'll leave it here. We still have a lot of ground to cover.

2. BEING STUCK IN THE PAST

Whenever a new sequel to a great game is announced, everyone in the village of
gamerville becomes excited and nervous at its arrival. Unfortunately though, with those
anxious and excited people come the sour-faced people out of the evil old folks home
telling everyone how the new sequel will be horrible because, OH NOES, they changed the
movement speed or, heaven forbid, they added something NEW.

This ticks me off for obvious reasons. But it also ticks me off because when too many of
the sour-faced people come out of the old folks home, whining, the developers see this
and think "Woah, maybe we shouldn't do that or add this in." So they leave it out and
the game gets released later. Then the verdict comes from the critics and players alike,
all criticizing the game, saying that it feels too stuck in the past.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm nostalgic as much as, if not more than, the next guy. When
I see a sequel to a great and original game getting developed, I get nervous too. But I'm
also optimistic. We wouldn't have some of the great features we know today in gaming if we
all just kept hanging on to tradition. We need to learn when we want a sequel to a game
and when we just want to play the original some more.

3. FORGETTING HOW MUCH MONEY, TIME, AND TALENT IT TAKES TO MAKE A TRIPLE-A GAME

A lot of people love to demonize publishers and sometimes they deserve it. HOWEVER, those
same publishers don't have infinite money. While they do net a good profit from the games
that actually sell a lot of copies, guess where it's all going back to? That's right.
Making more games. And make no freaking mistake. Triple A games are a real feat to make,
financially, physically, and mentally.

And that's just the publishers. A lot of times, developers get a lot of flak for releasing
a bad game. Most of the time though, the problem is simply that the publisher didn't give
the developer enough time to finish and/or polish the game. Now, I don't know if the example
I'm going use here is actually true. I hope it is and it seems like it but I can't back it up
for sure. Now, a seemingly good example of this is Fable 3. Fable 1 took roughly 4 years to
make. Fable 2 took roughly 2 years to make. Fable 3 took roughly 1 year to make. It is
generally agreed upon that Fable 3 was the worst fable. Yeah.

Also, and this happens frequently but people still can't seem to understand it, a feature in
an upcoming game sometimes needs to be cut because of technical reasons. Yet, when the fans hear
about this, they make a big hissy fit as if developers cut it out because they were stupid and
didn't know what they were doing. Well, of course. The developers have been doing this for years.
They obviously don't have a clue what they're doing. The developers are also the sole creators of
their work. They clearly don't love it. CLEARLY, 13-year-old fanboys such as yourselves are the
best authority on what they should and should not put into the game.

No, no, no, no, no. Don't automatically dismiss the reason why a dev left something out of the
game.

*EUGH* That took a long time to write. Oh well. I felt it needed to be said. Well, best of luck
to you chaps. And remember. THINK. Put yourself in the developers shoes. If you want to be more
than just a bunch of fans with misinformed opinions then you need to thoroughly understand what
you enjoy.

Until next time.

I know there's a few Jack White fans here so I figured I would make a quick thread about his new solo album. It's pretty fucking good IMO, and I've only listened to it all the way through twice so I'm sure it will grow on me more. If you like The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, or anything else he's done I would suggest giving it a listen.

One of the singles.
The Takedown Elite tactical defense pen is a 3-in-1 design that is equally capable as a writing instrument, self-defense implement or task light. This Takedown Elite features a black anodized aluminum body with a knurled grip and spike tip. The cap pops on and off both ends and features an LED light. To turn the light on just unscrew the cappartially. Includes pocket clip. The pen writes very well. If you should need a replacement ink cartridge click HERE. This is another great Takedown self-defense tool

So I am considering getting one of these bad boys. My reasoning behind it;

1. I need a good pen, I am tired of those shitty 10p bics that last about 3 seconds before breaking or drying up.

2. It is pretty cheap.

3. Very practical.

4. Because fuck you that's why!

Yes this is a bit mall ninja-ry. But admit it, there is a little mall ninja in all of us...

Some more than others (TGR, Fanglekai)

Children from racial and ethnic minorities now account for more than half the births in the US, according to the latest US census.
Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and other mixed races made up 50.4 percent of births counted in the 12 month period ending in July 2011.
It puts non-Hispanic white births in the minority for the first time.
Sociologists believe the economic slowdown has contributed to a greater decline in birth rates among whites.
The US Census Bureau recorded 2.02m babies born to minorities in the year to July 2011, making just over half of all births, compared with 37% in 1990.
