    Welcome to totse2, the second temple of the screaming electron. A website paying homage to the older days of BBS systems, after the late totse.com. Totse2 is many things that surpass the classic, and yet it is not the mainstream user site. Likewise it is not an image based website (although we do post images). It is not a website for blogging (although we do have blogs). It is not a networking website (although we do network).

    Totse2 is a website for information. Information on anything you will ever want to know. Information submitted by users, in the form of classic style text files and forum threads. Discussions range from the polite and relevant to the obscene and obscure. Politics, humanities, religion, sex, cuisine, weapons, pyrotechnics, drugs, legal and illegal activities, computer and automotive technology, music, the environment, do it yourself projects, and so much more. Information can and will be found in every nook and cranny, every forum, every thread. However this website is only as strong as its users. The more members, the more information.

    I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that the internet is exactly just for that, and that this website is a piss poor attempt at mimicking Wikipedia. But here you are allowed to do something you can do nowhere else: you are allowed to decide for yourself. You get to decide who to love and hate, who to agree and disagree with. You get to decide what you want to read, if you even want to read it. You don't have to deal with mainstream rhetoric (unless that's your thing), you don't have to read idiotic sentences (unless it is your desire to do so), you don't have to do anything, unless you want to.You will learn what you didn't know you were ignorant of, you will disagree and agree to no end, you will change for the better and the worse.

    Benzyl Cyanide [1]

    In a 5000ml round-bottomed flask, fitted with a stopper holding a reflux condenser and separatory funnel, are placed 500 g. (10 moles) of powdered sodium cyanide (96-98 percent pure) and 450ml of water. The mixture is warmed on a water bath in order to dissolve most of the sodium cyanide, and then 1000g (8 moles) of benzyl chloride (bp 170-180°C)[3] mixed with 1000g of 95 percent alcohol is run in through the separatory funnel in the course of 30-45 minutes. The mixture is then heated under a reflux condenser on the steam bath for four hours, cooled and filtered with suction to remove most of the sodium chloride. It is well to wash the filtered salt with a small portion of alcohol in order to remove any benzyl cyanide which may have been mechanically held. ...

    Many people are under the impression that it is hard to get a hold of chloroform, surprisingly, this is not the case. Chloroform is readily sold on Ebay with no special requirements to buy it.

    Chloroform is used as an anesthetic, meaning committing suicide with it is similar to euthanization. Personally, I am very surprised at the lack of talk about using chloroform as a suicide method on the internet. There seems to be very little information about it. Since it is so easy to get a hold of, and seems like it would be completely painless, I just cannot believe how few people think about using it for suicide.


    Chloroform usually kills by failure of the heart. There is no reason to be scared away by this though. Once you take the first deep breath it doesn't matter what happens afterwards, there will be no pain. At the concentration we will be using, the death is most likely sudden.




    Now, before we get into how to do it, lets compare the most common methods of suicide.



    Hanging: Depending on the drop, a broken neck and sudden death; a broken neck followed by strangulation; or no broken neck and just strangulation. All of these are terribly uncomfortable ways to die.

    Gunshot: Vulgar, sick, and disgusting. No matter where in your head you shoot yourself, there will be blood pouring from your nose and exit wounds in your skull. The pain may only be for a split second but it will be the most intense second of pain imaginable.

    Pills: Everyday people try to commit suicide by pills and fail. It is a terribly ineffective way unless you can get your hands on specific substances. Even with those specific substances it will be uncomfortable and take considerably longer than chloroform. Failing with this method will seem like a cry for help.

    Knife: Slitting your wrists or throat is the most painful of these methods. You are better off shooting yourself.
